This week the Hack or Slash team examines the 1976 film The Town That Dreaded Sundown and its 2014 meta-sequel by the same title, both of which are centered around the real-life tragedy that befell Texarkana in 1946. The group looks back on the origins of proto-slashers, realizes the liberties film can take with historical "facts", and comes to the conclusion the real horror was attempting to drive in the rain in 1946. Ryan also rants about the pronunciation of Arkansas, and Kris and Alexis question Ryan Murphy's ability to seal the deal on the projects he starts. This episode contains spoilers.
