Slasher Digest: February 2025

Behold! I have risen from my Super Slumber.

The last few months have been a whirlwind of change, growth, and a whole lot of horror. I closed out 2024 with a New Year’s Eve birthday, and officially stepped into another year of life in a brand-new space. My new apartment has become more than just a home—it’s a space I’m intentionally crafting for creativity. Consider it a headquarters of sorts for all things Hack or Slash. It’s still under construction, but I’m excited to share the finished setup next month.
While I’ve been settling into my new surroundings, Hack or Slash has kept rolling full steam ahead. We’ve hosted a few live recording sessions, strengthening our connection with the community, and we’ve already covered five new releases in 2025. It’s been a packed season of new blood, bold opinions, and the kind of conversations that keep horror alive.
Looking ahead, we have plenty more in store, and we’re ready to go deeper. That’s why we’re introducing Slasher Digest FM, the audio companion to this newsletter, exclusively for our patrons. It’s our chance to pull back the curtain, dive into behind-the-scenes stories, react to the latest trailers, and break down the biggest horror headlines in a way that only Hack or Slash can. If you’re ready to take the conversation further, you won’t want to miss it.
As always, thanks for being here—whether you’ve been with us for years or just found your way to our little corner of horror, we’re grateful to have you. Let’s make 2025 our bloodiest year yet.
Stay spooky, my friends!
